Rotary Community Service Project - Aug 8

On Saturday Aug 8 we cleaned gravestones at Oakshade Cemetery. It was a small group, but the Oak Shade volunteers appreciated our help.

Rotary Blood Drive - (Date to be Set)

CR METRO Rotarians and Friends!

The date and time will be re-set, due to the derecho storm. Mississippi Regional Blood Donation Center (address below) is reserving slots for a Rotary Blood Drive.

A decision to donate your blood can save a life. The process is safe and doesn't take a lot of time.

Last Chance! Ball Drop Sales close Sep 2

CR Rotary West Big Drop - Consider entering the contest. Sunrise Rotary club won $5,000 last year! The "last sales date" is Sep 2 (final reschedule!) Every dollar raised goes to HACAP kids' programs and Van Buren school.

July 30 Speaker: Variety Club - Robyn Rieckhoff

In our last July meeting Rotarians heard about Variety Club - Eastern Iowa. Robyn Rieckhoff - Eastern Iowa Director is a hard-working leader of the organization, sharing the mission and accomplishments of Variety Club - Eastern Iowa, including upcoming events.

Their mission is to help kids. Example include the Noelridge Park playground, many bicycles for kids and kids with challenges, through Jane Boyd House and other channels.
