Join the Linn County Master Gardeners for our annual Charlene Woeste Memorial Plant Sale! Support our volunteers and fill your garden with high quality, locally grown plants.
Our Questions/Topics suggested to our Speaker:
- Talk about the Master Gardeners Lowe Park plant sale May 10-11
- How to access Master Gardeners when we have questions?
- What is a good "app" to identify plants?
- A dry year last year: Any advice if it continues this year? Plants to recommend, to avoid, and some watering techniques?
- Recommend 'no-mow' ground covers. Thyme? Clover? (2 people asked)
- Talk about 'companion plantings" - Which plants to plant together, or to keep away from each other. (2 people asked)
- What type of maintenance is needed for a yard-size prairie? I'll add: what cities codes allow this?
