CR West Rotary “Flapjacks for Backpacks” – Join and support fellow CR West Rotarians on Saturday March 8 for their Pancake Breakfast, raffle and silent auction. Make-A-Wish Golf Event – time to focus for success. Get your team donation updates to Phil and Clayton. Sell 10 more tickets by Thursday. – Only 3 months until Tee Off! (A prospective member sold 30 tickets last week, unwrap the plastic!) Remember, each member should have the goal to get one golf foursome and one sponsor in addition to selling the tickets to support the goal of reaching $45,000. Thanks for all your efforts thus far.

Make-A-Wish Award – Make-A-Wish has awarded Sunrise Rotary an “External Fundraising Event of the Year” award for the 2013 Wish Upon A Par Golf Event. The $26,015 raised put us in second place to a Mason City group who raised $41,799. Hitting our goal of $45,000 this year just may be enough for first place this year! If there ever was a Team that would rise to the occasion it would be Sunrise Rotary! Congratulations to everyone! Volunteers Opportunity – The Marion Rotary Club needs volunteers to man water stations for the Marion Rotary Marathon for Shoes on April 13, 2014. Sign up for as volunteers using the EVENT on this page. We need 10 to 12 volunteers per station. Sunrise is signed up for one (1) water stop station on the Marion Marathon website. Please get signed up on the Sunrise website.
Outbound Exchange Student 2014-2015 – Sunrise will be co-sponsoring Mia Montathaci with Metro North as our Outbound Foreign Exchange student. Mia will be going to Spain.
